About Judy Saunders

Physiotherapy

Judy is a very experienced clinician who has run her private physiotherapy practice in the Amersham area for over 25 years. She is now treating the third generation. She qualified from St. Thomas' Hospital and worked in several healthcare settings specialising in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy before settling in Buckinghamshire with her family.

These included NHS, private hospitals/clinics and Occupational Health for British Airways and The Mirror Group.

As an active sportswoman herself, Judy fully understands the needs of sports people of all ages and abilities. She actively promotes physical activity for health and is particularly interested in encouraging the over 60s to maintain a good level of fitness, strength and mobility.

She also has clinical Pilates training and offers one-to-one Pilates sessions.

She was the Team Physio for Amersham and Chiltern Rugby Club for 10 years and spent two seasons working in the French Alps treating ski injuries.

Her wealth of experience is in the assessment, management and treatment of musculoskeletal problems whatever their cause. When you discuss your problem with her, it is almost certain that she will have seen it before and will be able to offer an individual treatment plan to help promote your recovery.

She regularly undertakes continuous professional development courses to keep treatments evidence based and effective,

She is a member of The Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and is registered with The Health and Professional Care Council. This guarantees that a Physiotherapist is fully insured and governed by a stringent code of professional conduct.
